Wilton is Headed to Disney!

We are excited to announce that the WHS Music Department will travel to Disney World next Spring! We will depart the evening of March 12, 2026, and return the evening of March 16.

On this trip, students will have the opportunity to participate in a Soundtrack Recording Clinic on Disney’s Imagination Campus, where they will learn how movie studios record music, and then rehearse and produce a soundtrack recording to a Disney movie. Students will also have the chance to put on a concert in Disney Springs, where they will experience a performance under professional conditions and expectations in front of hundreds of people visiting the park. Students will also have plenty of time to enjoy the rides and explore the Disney parks together as they celebrate what we expect to be a great year of music-making.

The total cost of the trip is estimated to be $1970, depending on enrollment and final booking details. This includes airfare, buses, hotels, park tickets, all meals, and workshop fees.

Fundraising opportunities will be offered beginning in the Fall, including the Music Boosters annual pie sale fundraiser, and other options for students to raise money to put towards the their trip. In addition, financial aid is available from the Music Boosters if needed.

An initial deposit of $250 is due by June 13th

Payment Options

Families can make payments:

  • By check made out to “WHS Activity Fund” delivered to their music teacher

  • Electronically (additional 3% fee)

Cancellation Policy

If an individual should need to cancel, they will be refunded for all payments made except the following amounts, based on the date that the cancellation is received by email.

Oct 31, 2025  - $350.00 Penalty Per Person
Nov 30, 2025  - $600.00 Penalty Per person
Dec 31, 2025  - $1200.00 Penalty Per Person
Jan 31, 2026 - $1500.00 Penalty Per Person
Mar 12, 2026 - Full Amount Paid Penalty

Trip Insurance

Optional cancellation insurance is available to individuals at an additional cost. This would allow for a full refund of the amount paid for the trip if the individual needed to cancel due to a covered physical illness or injury. Please note that this insurance will not cover a cancellation that is related to a pandemic or an epidemic. Further details about this insurance are available upon request.

Parent Volunteers Needed!

Want to spend quality time with your child and 200 of their closest friends, AND earn eternal gratitude from your music department!?!

We’d love to have you volunteer as a chaperone or equipment truck driver!

Chaperones are charged half the student rate to attend and we cover all expenses for the brave souls who drive our equipment truck.

We’ll ask for volunteers in the Fall, but feel free to ask questions now!
