We’re going to Washington D.C.!
Dear WHS Music Families,
We are writing to share the exciting news that the WHS Music Department plans to travel to Washington DC, March 14th - 15th this year!
On this trip, students will have the opportunity to participate in a workshop with the music faculty from the University of Maryland and perform a public concert in front of the Lincoln Memorial. Students will also enjoy a dinner cruise, sightseeing and touring in Washington DC, and a performance by the National Symphony Orchestra together as they celebrate what we expect to be a great year of music-making!

Cost and Registration
The total cost of the trip is estimated to be $620, depending on the number of students who register. Each year the Music Boosters facilitates a pie sale fundraiser, with the proceeds from each individual student’s sales going directly to offset the cost of their personal trip (50% of everything they sell). In addition to the pie sale fundraiser, financial aid is available from the Music Boosters if needed.
To reserve your spot on the trip, please complete the registration form linked below and pay your deposit of $200 by Friday, October 25th so we can finalize our numbers.
Payment Options
The total cost of the trip is currently estimated at $620 (depending on enrollment). You can either:
Pay by check made out to “WHS Activity Fund” and handed to your director
Pay electronically by adding the Music Trip Deposit to your cart (please note the addition of processing fees)
