Building and painting eh set was a labor of Love , and Ava, Grace and Ariana reveled in the opportunity to bring their creative skills to life in the real-world project, showcasing their dedication to the Wilton Community;.

Soup Bowl Sale

The WHS Ceramic classes created soup bowls to be sold at the "Soup Sale" in the Cafeteria. Proceeds from the sale were given to the Red Cross. American Red Cross is one of the largest disaster relief nonprofits out there. This well-known charity organization supports families in need by providing volunteer aid, blood drives, CPR training, blankets, meals, and financial aid. The Red Cross responds to all kinds of natural disasters, focusing on wildfires, home fires, hurricanes, and floods.

The WHS ceramic students created both handmade and wheel thrown pots. This is a national event which takes place in many schools across the country.
